Leather

This is how its looking so far.  Added some horns and spikes like u said Milton.  Been a little sick and busy lately.  I been working mainly on the custom alpha for the leather seams.  Im not sure if its looking right though.  A lot of work still left to get this beast ready for animation.  Gotto make all these armor pieces looking old!  like theyve gone thru a thousand battles! that plus fixing the fur.  Let me kno what u think!

Sculpted Fur

Just a. little update on sculpted fur.  Gotto finish detailing bear and armor before i can move on to retopo and to maya hair for cinematic purposes.  also plan to make a game mesh with poly fur...mmm... gotto figure how to do that too

Armored Bear

here is my shot at the armor, he also had his nails cut maybe a manicure next post...lol
im hoping the hair to cover most of them.  Talking about hair...how about that tut on polygonal hair Adrian? im gonna start that tomorrow see how it goes.

Project C - Bear

This is my WIP for a project I'm doing with a couple friends.  Right now we are in the process of creating the main 3d characters.  This is my Z-brush rough sculpt, still needs more detail work and I need to come up with a concrete concept for the armor.

 This is the head piece I had in my concept but it's looking too similar to The Golden Compass Bear.  Def. want to change that...any suggestions?

This is the first thing i made in maya the stub mesh.  Tryed to keep it nice and even quads as much as possible.  making it Zbrush friendly.  Then i imported it into Z and pretty much started sculpting.  I  shoulda had more polys in the head and feet cause they need more detail but oh well ill have to subdivide the whole thing a bit more.
